Smart release fertilizer – osmocote
Smart Release Fertilizer – Osmocote is engineered to help deliver bigger and greener plants. It tremendously helps the foliage which is why it’s a popular choice for aroids. Only one application of fertilizer is needed for the season. It’s great on all kinds of plants like annuals, houseplants, perennials, shrubs, and even vegetables and herbs.
Topdressing with this slow release fertilizer is possible at any time during the plant’s growth cycle. Topdressing means ‘broadcasting’ or ‘spreading’ the granules evenly on top of the soil or growing media but without mixing it in. This fertilizer is composed of water-soluble nutrients. It is a well-balanced blend of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. Since it releases slowly as the plant is watered, it will not burn the roots. It can be used on both indoor potted plants and outdoor container gardens.
