Allamanda Blanchetii 'Pink'
Allamanda Blanchetii ‘Pink’ adds colour and texture to your garden. It is a compact, evergreen climber and as shrub Allamanda grows very thick and get covered with yellow bell shaped 3 to 4 inches long blooms in growing season It is an ideal garden specimen for warmer climates and suitable for large pots, training over fences and arbours and growing as a standard. Choose a warm, sunny position, in moist, well drained soil. Keep this plant well watered in warmer months. Although it doesn’t have tendrils to climb but if you provide support it can grow as vine too.
It is vigorous and fast-growing; the flowers grow over a long season. Allamanda blanchetii is a species of perennial flowering plant flowering plant in the family Apocynaceae native to Brazil. Cultivated as an ornamental plant, it grows in full sun. This plant is purple or pink, bell-shaped blooms are about 3 inch across. It is also called red bell.
Dos and Don’ts after receiving the plant
- Do not re-pot the plant immediately after receiving. We’ve taken care of that with better pot and rich soil.
- Keep the plant in indirect sunlight for 3 to 7 days.
