With immense flower heads, Hortensia is an old-fashioned charm. Colours beguile with clear blue, vibrant pink, frosty white, lavender, and rose blossoms and sometimes all blooming on the same plant! If you’re looking for a garden flower with show appeal, hydrangea flowers are truly stunning.

Unrivaled in the shrub world for their beautiful flowers, these elegant plants are easy to cultivate, tolerate almost any type of soil, and produce abundant blooms. Large globes of flowers cover this shrub in summer and spring.

Although their appearance may seem high maintenance but with the right conditions and care they’re actually fairly easy to grow. Hydrangeas like morning sun and they do not do well if they’re in direct, hot afternoon sun. Partial shade in the later parts of the day is ideal for these beauties.

This plant produces some of the most beautiful flowers in the world, and with over 75 species of flowering plants native to Asia and the Americas, there’s a variety for every gardener’s taste. By far the greatest species diversity is in eastern Asia, notably China, Korea, and Japan.
