They prefer mild winter areas and can grow against a fence, building, on a trellis, in containers or as a hedge. These tropical vine-like shrubs are quite drought tolerant, love the sun, and pack a huge punch of colour.

What many people think of as the blooms of bougainvillea aren’t actually blooms at all. The showy paper-like structures are a modified leaf called a bract. So the coloruful parts you see when you look at a bougainvillea are actually the leaves, not petals! These bracts hide the actual flowers inside, which are small and trumpet-shaped in whites and yellows. The showy bracts are typically found on new growth, with the showiest display following their winter dormancy.

Excellent quality! I received the plant in good condition on 28th October 2025, one day's delay as per the schedule, resulting in a loss of leaves. Thank you so much for taking care of the package. However, the shape of the plant was expected to have one straight root branch for aesthetic purposes, which was missing. With best regards Manoranjan Debnath
