Syngonium Aurea Variegata
Syngonium Aurea Yellow Variegated
The colourful leaves of Syngonium Aurea Variegata have beautiful yellow markings on the deep green parts. It is even possible that there is an entirely yellow leaf in between! The foliage starts out narrow and lobed like an arrowhead, and the lobes become more distinct as the plant matures. It mainly grows in the soil of tropical rain forests and for this reason this plant likes high humidity.
Expose Syngonium Aurea Variegata to adequate light in order to encourage more variegation in the emerging leaves. When a branch reverts to solid green cut that branch out, this will encourage the growth of the variegated leaves. The beautiful chimeric variegation makes it one of the most desirable aroids.
This tropical makes a great houseplant and a low maintenance plant, will tolerate lower light. This ‘low caring easy to grow’ plant can be a perfect choice for the beginner plant parents.
According to NASA and other organizations, Syngonium is a top air purifier. It absorbs pollutants into their leaves and the toxins go to the root zone where they are transformed into nutrients for the plant. This houseplant also emits water vapors that help the plant pull polluted air to the roots where the plant converts the toxins into plant food.
