Vanda Denisoniana Coelestis Alba
Vanda Denisoniana Coelestis Alba is another beautiful orchid from Vanda genus. It is a species of orchid found from China to northern Indochina. It’s a species that produces few-flowered inflorescence and carries waxy flowers that have a strong vanilla scent. It was named after Lady Ida Emily Augusta Denison, an orchid enthusiast. This Alba variety stays manageable and perfectly suitable for indoor environment, the regular variety is a root producing monster!
You can grow Vanda Denisoniana Coelestis Alba bare root in baskets if you have good heat and humidity. However, it also does just fine in plastic pots with good drainage in an orchid mix. It loves warm temperatures. If you like to keep your house warm, you’ll make an excellent orchid owner.
As they age, they will get slightly bigger and have taller branching flower stems. A really beautiful orchid that would make a unique gift for the plant parent that has everything!
