Vanda Miss Joaquim X Phalaenopsis Doritis Pulcherrima is easy to grow and blooms frequently in our hot and humid climate. This is a compact hybrid between Phalaenopsis Pulcherrima and Vanda Miss Joaquim. Vanda Miss Joaquim was presented as Singapore’s National Flower. The species Doritis Pulcherrima, now known as Phalaenopsis Pulcherrima, is considered to be a terrestrial in its natural habitat indicated by the erect upright inflorescence. There are several variations of this orchid as the plants were germinated from seedpod.
You can grow Vanda Denisoniana Coelestis Alba bare root in baskets if you have good heat and humidity. However, it also does just fine in plastic pots with good drainage in an orchid mix. It loves warm temperatures. If you like to keep your house warm, you’ll make an excellent orchid owner.
As they age, they will get slightly bigger and have taller branching flower stems. A really beautiful orchid that would make a unique gift for the plant parent that has everything!
