Homalomena Wallisii Camouflage is a versatile, easy care plant that tolerates medium to low light and a warm, humid position. Water regularly without being constantly wet, liquid feed regularly. It thrives in areas with seasonal humidity and thus is better suited to a room with medium to high humidity levels.

Homalomena Wallisii Camouflage is highly sought after plant for its camouflage like foliage. The dark green leaves are marbled with bright yellow markings. It is the rare cousin of the increasingly popular Homalomena Rubescens variety. It has vibrant variegated leaves 10-15 cm long, heart shaped leaves which are slightly corrugated and add a brighter shade to your plant collection. With maturity the plant grows to a medium size, perfect for filling an empty corner in your plant filled apartment.

If you’re looking for a leafy, green and interesting houseplant, why not consider a Homalomena species. A genus of evergreen, perennial tropical plants, they’re known for their large, waxy and glossy foliage, relative ease of care, and resistance to pests and diseases.

Adelonema wallisii is a species of flowering plant in the family Araceae native to Venezuela, Colombia, and Panama. It reaches about 6″ in height but with a much wider spread.

Dos and Don’ts after receiving the plant

  • Do not re-pot the plant immediately after receiving. We’ve taken care of that with better pot and rich soil.
  • Keep the plant in indirect sunlight for 3 to 7 days.
  • Always check the soil moisture and keep the plant hydrated all time. Do not over water it.
