Sansevieria Green Hahnii
Bird's Nest Snake Plant
The leaves of Bird’s Nest Snake Plant are funnel shaped and form an elegant rosette of lush succulent foliage with horizontal grey-green variegation. These are robust, stocky plants. Perfect if you’re looking for a Sansevieria with all their easy-care qualities, but don’t have the space for one of the taller varieties.
It is highly recommended for bedrooms, and the living rooms. The small size of Sansevieria Green Hahnii is perfect for a table top plant. Sansevieria will adapt to different light levels, however the colours are enhanced in bright, filtered conditions.
Sansevieria is in the list of NASA’s air purifying plants. Research has shown that the broad leaves of Sansevieria soak up toxins and carbon dioxide and produce oxygen to help purify the air in the room. It also purifies and cleans indoor air by removing toxins such as formaldehyde and benzene. Since they produce oxygen mainly at night, Sansevierias make excellent bedroom companions.
Dos and Don’ts after receiving the plant
- Do not re-pot the plant immediately after receiving. We’ve taken care of that with better pot and rich soil.
- Keep the plant in indirect sunlight for 3 to 7 days.
- Always check the soil moisture and keep the plant hydrated all time. Do not over water it.
