Scindapsus Treubii Dark Form
Scindapsus Treubii Black
A classic vining houseplant, The Scindapsus Treubii Dark Form is cute and super rare, just like its sibling the ‘Moonlight‘. It differs from other Scindapsus for it has no silver variegation. This really enhances its deep black colour. The deep green leaves are so dark that it looks almost black, because of this, it’s also called ‘Nearly Black’. Another great thing about this colour is that Treubii Dark Form can even grow in spots with more shade!
In its natural habitat, the Scindapsus often grows up against larger trees and can therefore be places in spots without direct sunlight. A spot with indirect sunlight is ideal. It is a feast for the eyes and also a low-demanding plant. Are you a fan of trailing plants? Then place it in a beautiful plant hanger. Or do you prefer a climbing plant? Then you can easily let the it grow onto a moss pole.
Growing to 3 m tall in open ground, it is an evergreen climber. The Satin Pothos even made the top 10 in the NASA Clean Air Study conducted into air purifying houseplants, as it removes the harmful substances present in virtually all households, offices and schools.
The pictus is able to neutralise these harmful gases by absorbing them and breaking them down. The air humidity is improved by their regulating evaporation process. As they effectively convert CO² into oxygen, the air becomes healthier.
