Aliceara Dgmra. Winter Wonderland ‘White Fairy’
Aliceara Dgmra. Winter Wonderland ‘White Fairy’, also known as Degarmoara and registered in 1989 by Bee Lian Nursery, is an intergeneric epiphytic orchid hybrid from Miltassia Cartagena and Odontoglossum Gledhow. This intermediate to advanced level plant can grow into a large specimen, blooming with spectacular star-shaped white flowers featuring dark maroon spots, a subtle yellow tinge, and a prominent pearl-like white lip that emits a delightful fragrance.
It thrives in intermediate to warm conditions with Oncidium-like care, preferring shaded areas in summer, reduced watering in winter, and is typically potted in coconut husk. Awarded the HCC/AOS by the American Orchid Society, it’s a classic spider orchid suitable for enthusiasts, though flower colors and patterns may vary slightly due to hybrid nature and environmental factors.
