Anthurium Jenmanii

Anthurium-Jenmanii-Product-Peppyflora-02-Moz

The Anthurium Jenmanii is a popular guest and until recently was very expensive with buyers paying hundreds for a large plant. The Anthurium Jenmanii is a strong, extremely strong foliage plant, ideal for offices. The Anthurium Jungle King is a very strong plant that can easily stand in the (half) shade and is therefore ideal for people who are sometimes away from home.

Jenmanii like all Anthuriums grow naturally in South America. They are epiphyte which means they grow on other plants like trees but unlike parasites they don’t do any harm, taking nothing from the host apart from a good spot to grow.

The jenmanii will grow large given the right care with large beautiful architectural thick leathery leaves. New leaves grow with a gorgeous vibrant green contrasting with the plants older darker leaves. The flowers are understated and elegant.

Like other Anthuriums it also doesn’t like direct sunlight and the leaves can be burned. Keep in bright indirect light and well draining media. It doesn’t need much care but while doing so always think about the Amazon rain forest. This plant requires a lot of humidity to grow well. That’s why it is better to place this plant with other indoor plants.

Dos and Don’ts after receiving the plant

  • Do not re-pot the plant immediately after receiving. We’ve taken care of that with better pot and rich soil.
  • Keep the plant in indirect sunlight for 3 to 7 days.
  • Always check the soil moisture and keep the plant hydrated all time. Do not over water it.
