Bratonia royal robe
Elevate your orchid game with the Bratonia Royal Robe, a striking intergeneric hybrid from 1986 by Everglades Orchids—a cross of Bratonia Erachne (Brassia arcuigera x Miltonia spectabilis) and Miltonia Seminole Blood (Miltonia clowesii x Miltonia russelliana). This compact, vigorous grower reaches 12-18 inches tall, with ovoid pseudobulbs and 1-2 strap-like leaves up to 15 inches long.
Blooming up to twice yearly in spring and fall, it produces arching spikes of 3-6+ star-shaped, 4-6 inch flowers in deep burgundy, red, or chocolate brown, accented by a patterned white-pink lip and a morning raspberry-chocolate fragrance that lingers for weeks. The award-winning ‘Jerry’s Pick’ clone boasts an AM/AOS for superior quality.
