Brassia eternal wind
Brassia Eternal Wind, a hybrid grex from Brassia brachiata and Brassia rex, is a compact epiphytic orchid valued for its distinctive, elongated flowers resembling spiders, often measuring hand-sized with yellow or pale green petals accented by brown bars or spots.
The plant develops oblong pseudobulbs topped with narrow leaves reaching 12–14 inches, and sends up arching inflorescences up to 3 feet tall, each capable of holding 10–20 blooms that persist for 4–6 weeks.
Suitable for intermediate growers, it prefers bright filtered light, moderate temperatures, high humidity around 60%, and a coarse, well-aerated substrate such as fir bark, with watering every 5–7 days during active growth and less in cooler months to encourage reblooming, typically in late spring through summer.
