Cobra Fern
Ideally Cobra Fern needs some humidity through regular misting to really thrive indoors but they’ll still cope with an average room. It is a tropical, evergreen fern displaying wavy, broad, upright, glossy fronds.
Ferns thrive in neutral to acidic, loose, richly organic soil which is moist but not waterlogged. They prefers bright, filtered sunlight and is excellent as a houseplant or in a seasonal container. Protect from freezing temperatures!
This beautiful fern is unlike any other plant. For optimal health, it should be kept away from direct sunlight. This plant works well placed on a wall bracket where it can be left hanging and growing. The large leaves provide a sense of peace that is different from other aerial plants.
Cobra Fern is a medicinal fern commonly called the Fishtail Fern. It is epiphytes, but can also grow in soil (terrestrial). The rhizome is small, short, 50 mm in diameter, covered with dark brown scales; elongated scales, similar to triangles, 8 mm long. Single leaf lanceolate shape, green, 550 mm long, 50 mm wide, indistinct petiole, clear leaf bone, 3 mm diameter, pointed tip, winged base of leaf, branched leaf repetition.
