Syngonium Albo Variegata
Syngonium Albo Variegata, sometimes called Syngonium Podophyllum Albo Variegatum Marble or the Variegated Arrowhead Vine, is an easy and fast growing variegated plant with dark green arrowhead shaped leaves are marbled with large areas of pure white. The variegation is similar to the ever sough after variegated Monstera Deliciosa, with white splotches and sectoral variegation in white, and 2-3 shades of green.
Expose your plant to adequate light in order to encourage more variegation in the emerging leaves. When a branch reverts to solid green cut that branch out, this will encourage the growth of the variegated leaves. The beautiful chimeric variegation makes it one of the most desirable aroids.
This tropical makes a great houseplant and a low maintenance plant, will tolerate lower light. This ‘low caring easy to grow’ plant can be a perfect choice for the beginner plant parents.
According to NASA and other organizations, Syngonium is a top air purifier. It absorbs pollutants into their leaves and the toxins go to the root zone where they are transformed into nutrients for the plant. This houseplant also emits water vapors that help the plant pull polluted air to the roots where the plant converts the toxins into plant food.
Dos and Don’ts after receiving the plant
- Do not re-pot the plant immediately after receiving. We’ve taken care of that with better pot and rich soil.
- Keep the plant in indirect sunlight for 3 to 7 days.
- Always check the soil moisture and keep the plant hydrated all time. Do not over water it.
