Plants are unique! The images are meant to give you an idea of the specification and quality of the plant you will receive, but will not be an exact replica — blooming depends on season and care.
Pop her on your desk, brighten the bookcase and bring some life into the living-room. Shivereana suits every room in the house and likes bright light, but be careful but be careful not to place her in direct sunlight or she’ll burn. If you notice colours have faded she needs a bit more light. Put her closer to a window and she’ll be back to her full glory in no time.
With diligent care, patience and fertilizer, this gem can grow into a fully formed tree, or be pruned back to keep its small stature. It is one of the best air purifying plants. It is great at removing toxins from the air, and will survive infrequent watering and low light. The Variegated Rubber Plant is similar to its burgundy cousin in appearance and care. The only difference is the Shivereana requires brighter light conditions to keep its unique light-green and pinky-orange speckled foliage to look bright and defined.
Not only does it purify the indoor air but also regulates the humidity level of air conditioned rooms. It is a very popular ornamental plant from the Ficus genus.
When it is about 1 – 2ft tall it’s well suited sitting as a centrepiece on a table, on a shelf, or on a windowsill, but once it begins to grow above 3ft it looks great standing next to the television area or near door entrances. Once the plant begins to mature and grow in height it’s common to train and support the trunk and branches by staking or tying them back to keep them growing upright.
