Philodendron mayoi
This philodendron type is a perfect addition to any plant collection. It is also an ideal practical choice for starting off your indoor plant collection. Philodendron Mayoi is often confused with Thaumatophyllum Selloum. It is a vinning climber while the Selloum can form a thick trunk when mature. Their leaves may differ in different growing environments and sometimes may even look very alike. Both the red petiole and veins on the underside of the Philodendron Mayoi is another way to identity it.
It is an evergreen creeper or you can say climber. This plant can be used well to decorate your home. This uncommon philodendron is extremely easy to care for. It needs a bright indirect light, and water whenever the top layer of soil feels dry.
This easy to care for plant is one of the most popular houseplants. In tropical regions it can survive outside, however in most places it is used strictly as a houseplant. While blooms on this fast-growing climber may appear at any time during the year most plants in confinement never bloom. The Philodendron is an evergreen vine that thrives in partial shade at moderate temperatures.
